Today has been an insanely good day :D

I admit that I once found my job boring because of the lack of customers. The pay is average (but it's much better than my friend- he earns $20 per day packing birds nest), we have to memorize all the prices, and my colleagues are at least 2 generations apart from me... But I'm very very thankful.
I've grown fond of all the items in the shop, I've hit it off with all 3 of my colleagues (despite the obvious age gap and the different nationalities- one's from China, the other from Malaysia and my manager's from the Philippines) and when you learn to busy yourself by rearranging items on the shelves... Time really flies by! And then there's the feeling of satisfaction when you close a deal.
(this is me attempting to cheer myself up because my friend's gonna work in a famous fashion store where she's gonna be surrounded by hot guys all day long and she's paid $8.50/hour. I'd scream LIFE IS UNFAIR but I'm currently walking on moonshine, so I'm gonna let that bother me another day)

I guess you have to be content with what you have and derive happiness from whatever situation you're in. I'm thankful for my job and here's to great Christmas sales!!!

Oh ya 2 insanely friendly and polite gals are buying dresses from my blogshop, so I'm $10 richer!! Yes the dresses are dirt cheap, but I hardly wear them anymore. So I get a little bit of money while they get new clothes, so everyone's happy!
Can't wait to see them tomorrow :D

Is this blog post dripping with sugary sweetness and optimism or what?? Ok gonna catch some zzzzzzs before I wake up early for work tomorrow!
