Sweet 17th

Everyone expects something great out of milestone birthdays, eg. sweet 16/ 18/ 21. But this year's one was one of the sweetest for me :)

Where can I begin? With the well wishes from everyone in Guitar Ensemble (actl it was prompted by the mass sms sent out) to the surprise with the cake at the music atrium... It's kinda embarrassing, but when they switched off the lights and I saw Deon (I really didn't expect that, I thought he forgot) strolling in with the birthday cake, the candle illuminating his face like an angel (not exaggerating), when everyone burst out singing the traditional birthday song, I stoned with my mouth dropped and my eyes instantly filled. It was so heartwarming especially to see the friendly faces of fellow Lectralians (Shen Hao, Iris, Jyh Howe), touched that they still remembered...

Rehearsal was ok but I had good good company :) Went out for dinner with my parents then shopping with my sis (Topshop has really good sales items this season). Just opened my presents and I'm really thankful/ feel blessed for such great friends! All your presents and notes are so sweet, I think my heart will PERMANANTLY remain in this semi-melted state.

Ok I'm super tired right now, gonna hit the sack (it's like, 9.50pm?) soon. Probably after finishing an episode of the Lying Game, which has
1) Great GREAT soundtrack
2) A male version of Kristen Stewart
