my all-time fave songs

Here I am, sitting at home on a rainy Sunday afternoon, feeling absolutely numb about school starting tomorrow, listening to my iPod on shuffle... when I chanced upon songs that I used to love hearing.
They are by mainstream singers and a few of them actually tided me through the PSLE period. Yep that's more than 5 years ago, but I still love the tunes/ lyrics. So I'm just gonna share them with you here, if you're interested you guys can Youtube the songs. I'm a little tune-ist, so you may find some of the lyrics crappy but I absolutely love the melody lines.
And for some odd reason these songs were never released as singles. I wonder why.

1. Anything but Ordinary- Avril Lavigne
Let down your defences/ Use no common sense/ If you look you will see/ that this world is a beautiful accident turbulent suculent opulent permanent, no way/ I wanna taste it / Don't wanna waste it away

2. You Found Me- Kelly Clarkson
You found me when no one else was looking/ How did you know just where I would be>/ Yeah, you broke through all of my confusion/ The ups and the downs and you still didn't leave/ I guess that you saw what nobody could see/ You found me

3. Drive- Vanessa Hudgens
I don't claim to know it all/ I've had some wins I've had some falls/ The road is long and time is short/ I don't wanna spend too much time in thought/ I don't intend to play it safe/ I've gotta move to find my place/ I wasn't born for small talk crowds/ I know what I want and its not in this town

I've got big plans for 2012, but I don't know if I'm able to see them through. Still pining for my 100-Tumblr-notes, hoping to earn money from selling clothes at my blogshop, writing a new Gossip-Girl inspired novel (still in the works, but I've posted the first 2 chapters online), constantly writing songs... and planning to intern for a magazine by the end of the year.
Heh heh before I build my castles... I'm gonna do some linear equations.
